What is your favourite thing to do on a Sunday?

Get out of town! And for me, the best way is to take a river boat up to Ko Kret, a small island with no cars, lots of pottery and a couple of excellent local restaurants.

How would you spend a long weekend?

Bangkok's always fun, but Ko Samet makes a refreshing beach break. Just three hours away by road, a weekend here and I'm ready for the City of Angels again.

What's your idea of a good night out?

The cheap, atmospheric and fun bars and restaurants of Banglamphu. My favourite is the tiny blues bar/restaurant with the strange name — Ad Here the 13th.
